وطاخَهُ طَوْخاً: رَماهُ بِقَبِيحٍ من قَوْلٍ أو فِعْلٍ.

طُوخُ:
بضم أوله، وآخره خاء معجمة، وهو اسم أعجمي، ومدخله في العربية من طاخه يطوخه ويطيخه إذا رماه بقبيح: وهي قرية في صعيد مصر على غربي النيل. وطوخ الخيل: قرية أخرى بالصعيد في غربي النيل يقال لها طوخ بيت يمون ويقال لها طوّه أيضا، وبها قبر عليّ بن محمد بن عبد الله بن الحسن ابن الحسن بن علي بن أبي طالب، رضي الله عنه، كان خرج بمصر في أيام المنصور سنة 145 فلما ظهر عليه يزيد بن حاتم أخفاه عسامة بن عمر المعافري في هذه القرية وزوجه ابنته إلى أن مات ودفن بها.
وطوخ أيضا: قرية بالحوف الغربي يقال لها طوخ مزيد.
