سَئِمَ(n. ac. سَأْمسَأَم []

Min], Loathed, detested; grew weary of.
b. [ coll. ], Despaired of.

أَسْءَمَa. Disgusted, sickened.
س ء م : سَئِمْتُهُ أَسْأَمُهُ مَهْمُوزٌ مِنْ بَابِ تَعِبَ سَأَمًا وَسَآمَةً بِمَعْنَى ضَجِرْتُهُ وَمَلِلْتُهُ وَيُعَدَّى بِالْحَرْفِ أَيْضًا فَيُقَالُ سَئِمْتُ مِنْهُ وَفِي التَّنْزِيلِ {لا يَسْأَمُ الإِنْسَانُ مِنْ دُعَاءِ الْخَيْرِ} [فصلت: 49] .
