بالكسر، والذال معجمة، مقصور: من قرى واسط منها إبراهيم بن ثابت الجيذاني، روى عنه بخشل في تاريخه عن هشام بن حجاج عن عطاء، وكان يسكن جيذا، وبها مات سنة 233.
