تمأل: المُتْمَئِلُّ: الطويل المنتصب. وقد اتْمَهَلَّ سَنَامُ البعير
واتْمَأَلَّ إِذا استوى وانتصب، فهو مُتْمَئِلٌّ ومُتْمَهِلٌّ. واتمَأَلّ
الشيء أَي طال واشتدَّ.
