تحط: الأَزهري قال: تَحُوطُ اسم القَحْطِ؛ ومنه قول أَوْس بن حجر:
الحافِظُ الناسِ في تَحُوطَ، إِذا
لم يُرْسِلُوا تحتَ عائذٍ رُبَعا
قال: كأَنَّ التاء في تحوط تاء فعل مضارع ثم جعل اسماً معرفة للسنة، ولا
يُجْرَى، ذكَرها في باب الحاء والطاء والتاء.
