بَكِمْزةُ:
بالفتح، والزاي: قرية بينها وبين بعقوبا نحو فرسخين، كان بينها وبين بعيقبة الوقعة المشهورة بين المقتفي لأمر الله والبقش كون خر أحد الأمراء من قبل السلطان أرسلان شاه بن طغرل بن محمد بن ملك شاه، فانهزم البقش وأرسلان شاه وحزبهم وغنم عسكر المقتفي معسكرهم ورجع المقتفي إلى بغداد غانما، وذلك في سنة 549، ويقال لها بجمزا وقد ذكرت.
