هزبل: ما في النِّحْيِ هَزْبَلِيلةٌ أَي شيء، لا يتكلَّم به إِلاَّ في
الجَحْد، وفي بعض النسخ: ما فيه هَزْبَليّة إِذا لم يكن فيه شيء.
الأَزهري: الهَزْبلِيلُ الشيء التافِه اليسير. وهَزْبَل إِذا افتقر فقراً
مُدْقِعاً.
