[هرد] هَرَدْتُ اللحمَ أهرِدُهُ بالكسر هَرْداً: طبختُهُ حتَّى تَهَرَّأَ وتفسَّخ. والتَهْريدُ مثله، شدِّد للمبالغة. وهَرْدَ العِرض: الطعنُ فيه. وهَرَدْتُ الثوبَ: شققته. والهردى، على فعلى بكسر الفاء: نبت. وثوب مهرود، أي صبغ أصفر.
