هـ ج ع: (الْهُجُوعُ) النَّوْمُ لَيْلًا وَبَابُهُ خَضَعَ وَ (التَّهْجَاعُ) النَّوْمَةُ الْخَفِيفَةُ. وَيُقَالُ: أَتَيْتُ فُلَانًا بَعْدَ (هَجْعَةٍ) أَيْ بَعْدَ نَوْمَةٍ خَفِيفَةٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ.
