بكسر أوله: قال ابن بزرج: اللحيان الخدود في الأرض مما يخدّها السيل، الواحدة لحيانة، قال:
واللحيان الوشل الصديع في الأرض يخرّ فيه الماء وبه سميت لحيان القبيلة وليس بتثنية اللّحي، كله عن ابن بزرج، واللحيان: ردهة لبني أبي بكر بن كلاب.
