بالضم، وآخره باء موحدة، ويروى لهاب، بالكسر، وقال أوفى بن مطير المازني مازن بن مالك ابن عمرو بن تميم:
فسلّ طلابها وتعزّ عنها ... بناجية تخيّل في الركاب
طوت قرنا ولم تطعم خبيّا، ... وأظهر كشحها لقع الذباب
كأن مواقع الأنساع منها ... على الدّفّين أجرد من لهاب
