[ل ذ و] اللَّذْوَى اللَّذَّةُ وفي حَدِيثِ عائِشَةَ أَنُها ذَكَرَت الدُّنْيا فقالَتْ قد مَضَتْ لَذْواهَا وَبقِيَتْ بَلْواهَا قالَ ابنُ الأَعْرابِيَّ اللَّذْوى واللَّذَّةُ واللَّذاذَةُ كله الأَكْلُ والشُّرْبُ بنَعْمَةٍ وكِفايَةٍ كأَنَّها أَرادَتْ بذَهَابِ لَذْواهَا حياةَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وبالبَلْوَى ما امْتُحِنَ به أُمَّتُه من الخِلافِ والقِتالِ على الدُّنْيا حَكَى ذلك الهَرَوِيُّ في الغَرِيبَيْنِ وأَقُول إِنَّ اللَّذْوَى وإِن كان مَعْناهُ اللَّذَّةَ واللَّذاذَةَ فليسَ من مادَّةِ لَفْظِه وإِنَّما هُوَ من بابِ سِبْطْرٍ ولآلٍ وما أَشْبَهَهُ اللُّهُمَّ إِلاّ أَنْ يكونَ من بابِ تَقَضَّيْتُ وتَظَنَّيْتُ فالمادَّةُ واحِدَةٌ
