ك و ع: (الْكُوعُ) وَ (الْكَاعُ) طَرَفُ الزَّنْدِ الَّذِي يَلِي الْإِبْهَامَ. وَ (كَاعَ) عَنِ الشَّيْءِ مِنْ بَابِ بَاعَ وَيَكَاعُ أَيْضًا لُغَةٌ فِي (كَعَّ) عَنْهُ يَكِعُّ بِالْكَسْرِ إِذَا هَابَهُ وَجَبُنَ عَنْهُ.
