الكَسَادُ: خِلافُ النَّفَاقِ، كَسَدَتِ السوْقُ تَكْسُدُ، وهي كاسِدَةٌ. وأكْسَدَ القَوْمُ: كَسَدَتْ سُوْقُهم.
والكُسْدُ: لُغَةٌ في القُسْطِ. والغَنَمُ تَنْكَسِدُ إلى الغَنَم: تَرْجعُ إليها.
