ق ي ض: (انْقَاضَ) الْجِدَارُ (انْقِيَاضًا) تَصَدَّعَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَسْقُطَ. قُلْتُ: وَمِنْهُ قُرِئَ: «يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَنْقَاضَ» عَلَى مَا بَيَّنَاهُ فِي [ق ي ص] وَ (قَايَضَهُ مُقَايَضَةً) عَارَضَهُ بِمَتَاعٍ. وَ (قَيَّضَ) اللَّهُ تَعَالَى فُلَانًا لِفُلَانٍ أَيْ
جَاءَهُ بِهِ وَأَتَاحَهُ لَهُ وَمِنْهُ قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى: {وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَاءَ} [فصلت: 25] .
