ق ل ص: (قَلَصَ) الشَّيْءُ ارْتَفَعَ وَبَابُهُ جَلَسَ وَكَذَا (قَلَّصَ تَقْلِيصًا) وَ (تَقَلَّصَ) كُلُّهُ بِمَعْنَى انْضَمَّ وَانْزَوَى. وَ (قَلَصَ) الثَّوْبُ بَعْدَ الْغَسْلِ. وَشَفَةٌ (قَالِصَةٌ) وَظِلٌّ (قَالِصٌ) إِذَا نَقَصَ. وَ (الْقَلُوصُ) مِنَ النُّوقِ الشَّابَّةُ وَهِيَ بِمَنْزِلَةِ الْجَارِيَةِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَجَمْعُهَا (قُلُصٌ) بِضَمَّتَيْنِ وَ (قَلَائِصُ) مِثْلُ قُدُومٍ وَقُدُمٍ وَقَدَائِمَ وَجَمْعُ الْقُلُصِ (قِلَاصٌ) .
