قرنق: فرناق (باللاتينية fornax) : حجرة قبل الحمام المغربي توضع فيها الزبالة والسرقين الذي يستخدم لوقود النار في الحمام. (شيرب). فرانق: بريد (ديوان امرئ القيس ص27 البيت 11، تاريخ البربر 2: 352، 381، 392، 394، باين سميث 1326) وأنظر بخاصة (لاجارد جيسامولت، ابهاد لنجن ص76 - 77).
فرانقية: ناقل البريد (باين سميث 1426).
