قرس
القَرْسُ: أكْثَفُ السَّقِيْع وأبْرَدُه. وقد قَرِسَ المَقْرُوْرُ: إذا لم يَسْتَطِعْ عَمَلاً بيَدَيْه. وقد أقْرَسَه البَرْدُ. ومنه سُمِّيَ القَرِيْسُ والقارِسُ. والقَرِيْسُ: القَدِيمُ.
والقُرَاسِيَةُ: الجَمَلُ الضَّخْمُ. وقاعٌ قُرْقُوْسٌ: أي مُسْتَوٍ واسِعٌ.
والقِرْقِسُ: طِيْنٌ يُخْتَمُ به.
وقَرْقَسْتُ بالجِرْوِ: وهو أنْ تَدْعُوَه فَتَقول: قُرْقُوس.
وقِرْقِيْسَاءُ: اسْمُ بَلَدٍ. وتَقَرْقَسَ الرَّجُلُ: إذا طَرَحَ نَفْسَه وتَماوَتَ.
