فيخ

1 فَاخَتِ الرِّيحُ, aor. ـِ inf. n. فَيْخٌ and فَيَخَانٌ: see 1 in art. فوخ. Accord. to Kr and the K, فَيْخٌ signifies A spreading, or becoming diffused; like فِيْحٌ: (TA:) but ISd expresses doubt of the correctness of this: (L, TA:) it is [said to be] an inf. n. in this sense. (TK.) b2: See also 4.2 فيّخ العَجِينَ He made the dough like the سُكُرُّجَة [or فَيْخَة (q. v.) in form]. (TA.) 4 افاخ, (L,) inf. n. إِفَاخَةٌ, (L, K,) He (a man, L) emitted wind from the anus, with a sound; (L, K;) as also ↓ فَاخَ: (L:) or he voided excrement with an emission of wind. (L, K.) [See also art. فوخ.] b2: افاخ, said of a man, signifies also سُقِطَ فِى يَدِهِ [i. e. He repented of what he had done; &c.]. (K.) b3: And افاخ مِنْ فُلَانٍ He (a man, TA) turned away from, avoided, shunned, and left, such a one; syn. صَدّ عَنْهُ. (K.) فِيْخَةٌ A state of dilatation of the place of exit of the urine. (IAar, K.) b2: And A tangled, luxuriant, or dense, and abundant, state of herbage. (K.) b3: And Vehemence, or intenseness, of heat. (K, TA.) A2: And A [kind of small saucer, or cup, such as is called] سُكُرُّجَة [q. v.]: (K:) pl. فَيْخَاتٌ. (O and K voce شُفَارِجٌ.)
