فَرِطَ(n. ac. فَرَط)
a. Preceded: had precedence.

فَرَّطَa. Made to precede: placed first, foremost.
b. [acc. & 'An], Warded off from.
c. see I (f)d. Praised immoderately.
e. Left behind; forsook, abandoned; abstained
from.
f. Dispersed, scattered.
g. Granted a delay, a respite to.

فَاْرَطَa. Met; found.
b. Strove to outstrip, to precede.
