الغَشْقُ أهمله الجوهريّ، وَصَاحب اللِّسان، واللّيث. وَقَالَ الخارْزَنْجيُّ: هُوَ الضّرْبُ علَى مَا كَانَ ليّناً كاللّحْم يُقال: غشَقه غَشْقاً: إِذا ضرَبَه، كَمَا فِي العُباب.
