عَينُ سَيْلَم:
بفتح السين المهملة، وسكون الياء المثناة من تحت، وفتح اللام، مرتجل إن كان عربيّا وإلا فهو عجميّ: بينه وبين حلب نحو ثلاثة أميال، كانت العرب تنزلها، وكانت بها وقعة بين عطيّة بن صالح ومحمود بن صالح ابني مرداس في سنة 455.
