عمرس: يوم عَمَرَّسٌ : شديد. وشَرٌّ عَمَرَّس، قال الأُرَيْقِط في وصف يومٍ ذي شَرٍّ.

عَمَرَّسٌ يَكْلَحُ عن أنيابهِ

العُمْروسُ: الجَمَلُ إذا بَلَغَ النَّزْوَ. والعَمَرَّس: الشرس الخُلُق القوي.
