علن: أعلن. أعلن بصحبته (تاريخ البربر 1: 483) وقد ترجمها السيد دي سلان إلى الفرنسية بما معناه: عُني بصداقته.
عَلانَّية: ذكرها فريتاج في معجمه ويجب حذفها، وقد ارتكب دي ساسي نفس الخطأ في طبعته لكتاب كليلة ودمنة (ص112، 184) والصواب علانية من دون تشديد.
