(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ عَدِيٍّ «إِنَّا نَصِيد الصَّيد فَلَا نَجِد مَا نْذَكِّي بِهِ إلاَّ الظِّرَار وشِقَّةَ العَصا» الظِّرَار: جَمْعُ ظُرَر، وَهُوَ حَجَر صُلْب مُحَدَّد، ويُجْمع أَيْضًا على أَظِرَّة. وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُهُ الْآخَرُ «فأخذتُ ظِرَاراً مِنَ الأَظِرَّة فذَبَحْتُها بِهِ» وَيَجْمَعُ أَيْضًا عَلَى ظِرَّان، كصُرَد وصِرْدَان.
وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ عَديّ أَيْضًا «لَا سِكِّيَن إلاَّ الظِّرَّان» .
