طاء: الطّاءُ: حرفٌ من حُروفِ العربيّة، ترجعُ أَلِفُها إلى الياء، إذا هجّيته جَزَمته، كما تقول: طاء مُرْسَلة اللّفظ بلا إعْرابٍ، فإذا وَصَفتَه وصيّرته اسماً أَعْرَبْتَهُ كإعراب الإسم، تقول: هذه طاءٌ مكتوبة طويلة، لمّا وصفته أعربته.
