طثرج: أَبو عمرو: الطَّثْرَجُ النمل؛ قال ابن بري: لم يذكر لذلك شاهداً،

قال: وفي الحاشية شاهد عليه وهو لمنظور بن مرثد:

والبِيضُ في مُتُونِها كالمَدْرَجِ

أَثْرٌ كآثارِ فِرَاخِ الطَّثْرَجِ

قال: وأَراد بالبيض السُّيوفَ. والمَدْرَج: طريق النمل. والأَثْرُ:

فِرِنْد السيف، شَبَّهَه بالذرّ.
