: (الضِّرْدِخُ، بِالْكَسْرِ: العظيمُ مِنْ كلِّ شيْءٍ) .
(و) يُقَال: (نَخْلَةٌ ضِرْدَاخٌ) ، بِالْكَسْرِ، أَي (صَفِيَّةٌ كرِيمٌ) . قَالَ بعضُ الطائيِّين:
غَرَسُت فِي جَبَّانةٍ لم تَسْنَخِ
كلَّ صَفِيَ ذاتِ فَرْعٍ ضِرْدِخِ
تَطَلَّبُ الماءَ مَتى مَا تَرْسَخِ
