ض ب ثَ: (ضَبَثَ) بِالشَّيْءِ مِنْ بَابِ ضَرَبَ قَبَضَ عَلَيْهِ (بِكَفِّهِ) . وَ (مَضَابِثُ) الْأَسَدِ مَخَالِبُهُ، وَفِي الْحَدِيثِ: «الْخَطَايَا بَيْنَ (أَضْبَاثِهِمْ) » أَيْ فِي قَبْضَاتِهِمْ.
