الصعْصَعَة: التحريك والتفريق، ومنه: ذهبت صعاصع. وصَعْصَعَ رأسَه: رجلَه ودهَنه. وتَصَعْصَع الرجلُ: جَبًن. والصعْصَع: طائر أبرش لا يقف بمكان. وَصَعْصَعَ الرجلُ: أقبل.
والصعْصَعَة: نبْتٌ يُشْرت ماؤه للمشي.
