الصَّرْقَعَة، أهمله الجَوْهَرِيّ، وَقَالَ الأَزْهَرِيّ: هُوَ الفَرْقَعَة، يُقَال: سَمِعْتُ لرِجلِه صَرْقَعَةً، وفَرْقَعةً، بِمَعْنى واحدٍ. قَالَ ابْن عَبَّادٍ: صِرْقاعَةُ المِقْلاعَةِ، بالكَسْر: طرَفُها الَّذِي يُصَوِّتُ، نَقله الصَّاغانِيّ.
