(شَوَصَ)
(هـ) فِيهِ «أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَشُوصُ فاَهُ بالسِّواك» أَيْ يَدْلُك أسْناَنه ويُنَقَّيها. وَقِيلَ هُوَ أَنْ يَسْتاك مِنْ سُفْل إِلَى عُلْو. وأصلُ الشَّوَصِ: الغَسْل.
وَمِنْهُ الْحَدِيثُ «استغْنُوا عَنِ النَّاسِ وَلَوْ بِشَوْصِ السِّوَاكِ» أَيْ بِغُسَالَتِهِ. وَقِيلَ بِمَا يتَفَتّتُ مِنْهُ عِنْدَ التَّسوُّكِ.
(س) وَفِيهِ «مَن سَبَق العاَطِسَ بالحَمْد أمِنَ الشَّوْصَ واللَّوْصَ والْعِلَّوْصَ» الشَّوْصُ: وَجَعُ الضِّرْسِ. وَقِيلَ الشَّوْصَةُ: وجَعٌ فِي الْبَطْنِ مِنْ رِيحٍ تنعقِد تَحْتَ الأضْلاع.
