الشَكِصُ والشَكِيْصُ: لُغَةُ في الشَكِس.
والشِّكَاصُ: المُخْتَلِفَةُ نِبْتَةِ الأسْنَان.

الشَّكصُ، ككَتفٍ، وأَميرٍ أَهْمَلَه الجَوْهَرِيّ. وَقَالَ ابْن عَبَّاد: وَهُوَ السَّيِّئُ الخُلُق، لُغَةٌ فِي السِّين، وَقد تَقَدَّم. قَالَ الصَّاغانيّ: الشِّكَاصُ، بالكَسْرِ: المُخْتَلفَةُ نبْتَةِ الأَسْنَانِ، كَذا فِي التَّكْملَة والعُبَاب. وممّا يُسْتَدْرك عَلَيْهِ: الشَّكيصَةُ م الإِبل: الَّتِي لَا لَبَن لَهَا وَلَا وَلَدَ فِي بَطْنهَا نقَلَه الصّاغانيًّ فِي التَّكْملَة.
