سُوَذَانُ:
بضم أوّله، وبعد الواو ذال معجمة، وآخره نون: من قرى أصبهان، ينسب إليها أبو بكر محمد ابن أحمد بن محمد السوذاني، سمع أبا الفضل عبد الرحمن بن أحمد الرازي وأبا بكر محمد بن الفضل المناظر، وكان شيخا محدّثا مقرئا، توفي بأصبهان في شهر ربيع الأوّل سنة 482.
