(سَمْسَرَ)
(هـ) فِي حَدِيثِ قَيْسِ بْنِ أَبِي غَرَزة «كُنَّا نسَمَّى السَّمَاسِرَةَ عَلَى عهدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فسَّمانا التُّجار» السَّمَاسِرَةُ: جَمْعُ سِمْسَار، وَهُوَ القَيِّم بالأمْر الْحَافِظُ لَهُ، وَهُوَ فِي البَيْع اسمٌ لِلَّذِي يَدخل بَيْنَ الْبَائِعِ وَالْمُشْتَرِي مُتَوَسِّطا لإمْضاءِ البَيعِ . والسَّمْسَرَةُ:
البيعُ والشِراء.
وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي تَفْسِيرِ قَوْلِهِ «لَا يَبِعْ حاضرٌ لبادٍ» قَالَ: لَا يَكُونُ لَهُ سِمْسَاراً.
