زدعَ الجارِيَةَ، كَمَنَعَ، أهمله الجَوْهَرِيّ وصاحبُ اللِّسان، وَفِي العُبابِ: أَي جامَعَها، وَكَذَلِكَ دَعَزَها، وعَزَدَها. قَالَ ابنُ عَبَّادٍ: المِزْدَع، كمِنْبَرٍ: السريعُ الْمَاضِي فِي الأمرِ كالمِسْتَع.
