بكسر الراء، وبعد الشين تاء مثناة من فوقها، وآخره نون: من قرى مرغينان، ومرغينان من قرى فرغانة بما وراء النهر، ينسب إليها شيخ الإسلام بخوارزم المعروف بالرشتاني.
