دوص: (فارسية ماء يغمس فيه الحديد في النار حتى احمر (المستعين) وضبط الكلمة الذي ذكرته في مخطوطة ل. أما في مخطوطة ن فهو دُوص (ابن البيطار 1: 295، 464) وهو يقول إنه خبث الحديد في قول بعضهم.
