دقس
الدَّقْسُ: المَلِكُ، ودَقْيُوْسُ: اسْمُه، وليستْ بعَرَبيَّةٍ.
وجَمَلٌ مِدْقَسٌ: شَدِيدٌ دَفُوعٌ. وإبِلٌ مَدَاقِيْسُ: وهي التي تَدُقُّ الحَصى. ودَقَسْتُ البِئرَ: مَلأْتُها. ودَقَسْنا خَلْفَهم: أي حَمَلْنا حَمْلةً.
والدُّقُوْسُ: الغُيُوْبُ. وضَرَبْتُ الوَتدَ حتى دَقَسَ: أي مَضى في الأرْض.
