الأُدْحِيُّ: المَوْضِعُ التي تَبْيْضُ فيه النَّعَامَةُ. ومَنْزِلٌ في السَّماء بين النَّعائمِ والذّابحِ.
والدِّحْيَةُ: الرَّئيسُ؛ عن أبي حاتِمٍ، وبه سُمِّيَ دِحْيَةُ الكَلْبِيُّ.
