بضم أوله، وبعد الألف ياء ثم جيم، وآخره نون: قرية من قرى كارزين من بلاد فارس، منها أبو عبد الله محمد بن الحسن بن أحمد بن إبراهيم بن الحسن بن علي بن سفيان الخمايجاني الفقيه، حدث عن الحسن بن علي بن الحسن بن حمّاد المقري، سمع منه ابن عبد الوارث الشيرازي الحافظ.
