خَشْتاشة: (ألف ليلة برسل 11: 322) ويظهر أنها مأخوذة من الفارسية خراجة تاش (مثل خُجْداش (انظر الكلمة) أو خُشْداش) ومعناها رفيق المكتب. غير أنها استعملت في عبارة ألف ليلة اسماً للجنس بمعنى: رفاق، صحاب.
