حثرب: حَثرَبَتِ القَلِيبُ: كَدُرَ ماؤُها، واخْتَلَطَتْ به الحَمْأَةُ.
وأَنشد:
لم تَرْوَ، حَتَّى حَثرَبَتْ قَلِيبُها * نَزْحاً، وخافَ ظَمَأً شَرِيبُها
والحُثْرُبُ: الوَضَرُ يَبْقَى في أَسْفَلِ القِدْرِ. والحُثْرُبُ والحُرْبُثُ: نَباتٌ سُهْليٌّ.
