التَّرَفُ: التَنْعِيْمُ في الغِذَاءِ، صَبِي مُتَرَّفٌ ومَتْرُوْف: مُوَسعٌ عليه عَيْشُه. واسْتَتْرَفَ القَوْمُ: طَغَوْا، وهو من الأوَّلِ. والتُرْفَةُ: هَنةٌ في وَسَطِ الشفَةِ العُلْيا خِلْقَةً، وصاحِبُها أتْرَفُ.
