بَرْزَبينُ:
بالفتح، وكسر الباء الثانية، وياء ساكنة، ونون: قرية كبيرة من قرى بغداد على خمسة فراسخ منها، إليها ينسب القاضي أبو علي يعقوب بن إبراهيم العكبري البرزبيني الحنبلي قاضي باب الأزج، توفي في شعبان سنة 486 عن ثمانين سنة.
