[بغم] بُغامُ الظبية: صوتُها: وظَبْيَةٌ بَغومٌ. وكذلك بُغامُ الناقة صوتٌ لا تُفصِح به. وقد بَغَمَتْ تَبْغِمُ بالكسر. وبَغَمْتُ الرجلَ، إذا لم تُفصِح له عن معنَى ما تحدِّثه به. قال ذو الرمة: لا يَنْعَشُ الطَرفَ إلاّ ما تَخَوَّنَهُ داعٍ يناديه باسمِ الماءِ مبغومُ والمُباغَمَةُ: المحادَثة بصوتٍ رخيم. قال الكميت: يَتَقنَصْنَ لي جآذر كالد ريبا غمن من وراء الحجاب
