بطق: بَطَّق (بالتضعيف) ذكرها فوك، انظر: cedula.
بِطَاقة: هي بصورة عامة الرقعة الصغيرة من الورق، والرسالة (عباد 1: 209 رقم 55) - وبطاقه: شاهد القبر (وهو حجر يكتب عليه اسم الميت وتاريخ الوفاة (الكالا).

(بَطَقَ)
(هـ) فِيهِ «يُؤتَى برجُل يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وتُخْرَج لَهُ بِطَاقَة فِيهَا شَهَادَةُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ» البِطَاقَة: رُقْعة صَغِيرَةٌ يُثْبَت فِيهَا مِقْدارُ مَا يُجْعَل فِيهِ إِنْ كَانَ عَيْناً فَوزنُهُ أَوْ عَددُهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ متَاعا فَثَمنُه. قِيلَ سُمّيت بِذَلِكَ لأنَّها تُشَدُّ بِطَاقَة مِنَ الثَّوب، فَتَكُونُ الْبَاءُ حِينَئِذٍ زَائِدَةً. وَهِيَ كَلِمَةٌ كَثِيرَةُ الِاسْتِعْمَالِ بِمِصْرَ. وَمِنْهُ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ «قَالَ لِامْرَأَةٍ سألتْه عن مسئلة: اكْتُبِيها فِي بِطَاقَة» أَيْ رُقْعة صَغِيرَةٍ.
وَيُرْوَى بِالنُّونِ وَهُوَ غَرِيبٌ.

عن التركية من بطق أو باطاق بمعنى خادع لين، وتحت القدم وحل الطين مغطس، أو من بطق بمعنى كأس على هيئة البط.
