بضم

(البُضْمُ، بالضَّمِّ) أهمله الجوهريّ وَفِي اللّسان: هُوَ (النَّفْسُ) ، يُقال مَا لَهُ بُضْمٌ أَي: نَفْسٌ. (و) البُضْمُ أَيْضا: نَفْسُ (السُّنْبُلَة حِينَ تَخْرُج من الحَبَّة فَتَعْظُم. و) قَالَ الخارْزَنْجِيُّ: (بَضَمَ الزَّرْعُ: غَلُظَ حَبُّه) يَبْضُمُ بَضْمًا، من حَدِّ نَصَر. (و) فِي اللّسان: بَضَمَ (الحَبُّ: اشْتَدَّ قَلِيلًا) .
