بركُوتُ:
بالفتح، وضم الكاف، وسكون الواو، وآخره تاء مثناة: من قرى مصر، ينسب إليها رياح ابن قصير اللخمي البركوتي من أزدة بن حجر بن جزيلة بن لخم، وأبو الحسن عليّ بن محمد بن عبد الرحمن بن سلمة الخولاني البركوتي المصري، يروي عن يونس بن عبد الأعلى، مات في رجب سنة 329.
