القِنْعاسُ، بالكسر، من الإِبِلِ: العظيمُ، والرجلُ الشديدُ المَنيعُ
ج: قَناعيسُ.
والقُناعسُ، كعلابِطٍ: العظيمُ الخَلْقِ
ج: بالفتح، كجُوالِقٍ وجَوالِقٍ.
والقَنْعَسَةُ: شدَّةُ العنقِ في قِصَرِها، كالأحْدَب.
